Evening all,

On Saturday, the U16 and U18 provincial finals were held at Twin Elm and I was delighted to be able to spend it with the U16 boys. It is always great to see so many rugby players in one place, ready to take their game to the next level and play with passion and pride. Although the results didn’t go their way, the boys played incredibly well and showed great team camaraderie, looking out for each other and taking each game as a learning opportunity to grow as a player and a team. Thank you for representing BSRFC with such pride. 

Today the U14 Girls and Boys travelled to Brampton for the provincial championships, the only age group which had both teams represented at provincials. Although the results weren’t what we wanted, the players had the opportunity to display their talents on a larger scale and learn from the experience. Once again our coaches and managers organised and our parents supported so that all our players could play to the best of their ability. I do want to thank everyone who gives of their time in whatever capacity, it takes a village to raise a child and a city to support a team 🙂 – BSRFC always do it best!

• 2026 Interbranch Fall Sevens tryouts (you only have to attend 1)
  • Sept 4: 6-8.30 pm, Kingston at La Salle Secondary School
  • Sept 5: 9 am to 12 pm at Twin Elm Rugby Park
  • U15 players (born 2011 and 2012)
  • U17 players (born 2009 and 2010)
  • Register for EORU Sevens tryouts
