I hope you have enjoyed the glorious weather this weekend. A number of teams at U14, U16 and the U18G continued their 7s journey with tournaments at Rowan’s and Smiths Falls. Additionally a number of our junior players attended the Ontario Combine in Kingston. Well done to all who took part in this surprising heat.

Courses

Rugby Canada Coaching Courses: On October 14 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, the club will be hosting a Rugby Canada coach development session at the baseball diamond beside Rowan’s Pitch, led by Stephen Meehan, Head Coach, National Men’s XV, and Anthony Mathison, Forwards Coach. If you are an existing coach and wish to attend, please use this link to register.

We are also working on some internal offerings, a Technical Game Leaders program and a grade 12 guide to rugby playing opportunities after high school. I hope to have some more dates and more details next week.

Reminder the 2025 BSRFC U14-U18 Banquet is on November 7, 2025 at the Blu Legacy Convention Center, doors open at 5:30 pm. Semi-formal dress. Senior men and women and Old Boys are also welcome to join and celebrate the club youth and junior success this year. Score your tickets!
