Evening all,

Today, I had the pleasure of watching the U14 boys and girls take on the Irish and Lanark at the Irish Club Day. It reminded me of the joy of rugby and the beginnings of friendships that will last a lifetime. These young people are at the start of their rugby career and they are so fortunate to have so many people in their corner, cheering them on. It was a pleasure to watch.

I have a request from our coaches that players please indicate their availability for practice and games. We all know this time of year is busy and the cottage is often calling at the weekend but it is really difficult to plan and prepare for a game without knowing who will be there. Please reach out to your coach if you know you will be absent and also indicate availability where you can, Thank you.

Congratulations to the Senior Women who move to the top of their league after a convincing win over the Blues.

Congratulations to all the BSRFC players who have been selected for regional (EORU), provincial (Ontario Blues) and national camps (U18 East camp), it really is special to see our club represented at all levels of competition.
