The Barrhaven Scottish held on for a 7-5 victory over the touring Hamilton Hornets on saturday afternoon.
A full park of players and supporters stayed for both games of a double header which saw the Hornets valiantly play back to back games later taking on the Ottawa Indians.
The schedule might say pre-season, but spectators would have been hard pressed to believe this in two hotly contested clean matches.
A large contingent of over 90 players and supporters were received at The Royal Oak Barrhaven the official restaurant sponsor of the Barrhaven Scottish.
Scottish supporters and club members also received Rona discount cards which entitle the bearer to 5% off applicable purchases and in turn at the end of the season Rona returns 5% in gift cards back to the club, if you haven’t received yours please contact Phil
Overall a great day for rugby in the Nation’s Capital and precursor for the great atmosphere supporters can expect at the pitch as the regular season ramps up.
