2021 REGISTRATION IS OPEN

We are pleased to announce that our 2021 Registration system is now open and will remain open for the duration of the season. Please visit the “Join/Register” tab on our Home page.

When you visit the website, you will notice that there have been many updates, please take the time to look around and let us know what you think. Some key items to read would include:

The RETURN TO PLAY tab contains a wealth of information for Players, Coaches and Volunteers to make an individual educated decision regarding a safe Return to Play. If you have questions, which are not addressed, do not hesitate to contact us.  

Although we have received sanctioning approval from Rugby Ontario, with the province presently under a “Stay at Home” order – all organized group sporting activities have been suspended. Current Rugby Ontario guidelines do not permit activities in the Grey/Lockdown zone, therefore we plan to Return to Play when Ottawa is categorized as Red/Control (Rugby Ontario Phase 2).

As we get closer to the confirmed start date, we will release an updated information package on “What to Expect” when we get going.

As we did last fall, this season will be a fitness and skills focussed program that will emphasize healthy outdoor activity, core skills development, friendship and fun! As COVID restrictions relax, we will continue to enhance the program to include flag rugby competitions and hopefully club social activities.

The Scottish will be running all age groups from U8 to Seniors, with separate gender groups starting at U12. Our primary training location will again be Rowan’s Pitch and other fields at Ken Ross park. Our Junior Girls & Boys will alternate between Rowan’s and Nepean HS. At present, the season is set to run from June to August – if the start is delayed past June, programming will likely be extended into the autumn. We plan to keep the option of a fall season open as well.
