Welcome to the Barrhaven Scottish Senior Women’s program!
We are looking for players of all experiences and levels to join our club. We offer an inclusive, fun and dynamic program that focuses on optimizing the performance of all players through structured and highly motivating practices.
Our Senior Women’s program consists of one active team; competing in the Eastern Ontario Rugby Union – Division 1. We begin training twice a week during the evenings once we get out on the City fields. The majority of the matches are played on the weekends, with occasional week nights matches.
Our squad regularly plays against Kingston (KPRFC), Ottawa Irish (OIRFC), Ottawa Ospreys (OORFC), Ottawa Wolves (OWRFC) and Lanark (LHRFC).
Our teams are made up of a range of experience including national and provincial players, University and College level players, as well as those new to the sport and seasoned veterans.
Our record of success (including our FRQ championship win in 2014) is a testament to the commitment, skill and excellence of our players and coaches. We believe that rugby is the greatest sport in the world and that community lies at its heart – so whether you are a new player or an experienced vet, you are welcome here!
